"It was not easy to choose a winner, as skill of underwater photographers has improved much. We have been discussing this nomination with the experienced photographers for a long time. Wide angle is the most difficult photography and it's most difficult to make a good photo with wide angle. A qualitative photo is a big luck."

Today, we are going to say, that underwater photography - is not only art, but also sport. It wasn't yet much spoken about in Russia. We decided, that the Russian Underwater Federation would make itself responsible for development of underwater photography as a kind of sport."
