Housing for Olympus Digital Cameras

Compact new housing that provides all of the functions for these Olympus digital cameras. The LCD information window on top of the camera is easy to see as is the LCD monitor.

The housing includes a flash diffuser that allows underwater photos to be taken with the built-in strobe of the camera. An optional DS series Ikelite SubStrobe placed farther from the lens improves the photographs by reducing the illumination of particles suspended in the water.

Special conversion circuitry is included that allows real hard wired TTL when a C-750 camera is connected with a #4103.51 or #4103.52 sync cord to a DS-50 or DS-125 digital SubStrobe. C-740 camera operates only with the Manual Controller which provides 10 manual power settings with the DS-50 and DS-125 digital SubStrobes, and is triggered by the strobe in the camera or a sync cord.

The lens port allows attaching the optional UWL-100 wide angle lenses produced by Inon, Olympus, or the #58070 Sea & Sea digital wide conversion lens.

The heavy duty housing is molded of corrosion free clear polycarbonate and operates safely to 200 feet. Camera and housing complete weighs less than 6 pounds.

Single Release Handle system allows easy attachment and removal of SubStrobe mounting arms at the touch of a button.
