Housing for Canon G3 and G5 Digital Cameras

The Canon G3 and G5 have a tradition of superb results and ease of use. The housing allows slave sensor or direct wired sync cord for manual strobe use, or auto exposure with our TTL slave sensor.

Every camera function except the self timer and continuous button is accessible in the housing. Epoque DCL-20 wide angle lens attaches to the port and operates fine with this camera. Complete housing and camera weighs less than 6 pounds.

The housing includes a diffuser to allow underwater photos to be taken with the built-in strobe of the camera, but an optional strobe placed farther from the lens improves the photographs by reducing the illumination of particles suspended in the water.

These cameras utilizes a pre flash system requiring our Digital SubStrobes. The TTL Slave Sensor is compatible, duplicating the automatic exposure dictated by the camera. Or choose the Manual Controller providing 10 power settings with the DS-50 or DS-125 digital SubStrobes.

The Release Handle system allows easy attachment and removal of SubStrobe mounting arms at the touch of a button. Housing measures 7" wide; 10" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 6" high, and 6" deep. It is molded of corrosion free clear polycarbonate and operates to 200 feet.
