Nikon Coolpix 5700 & 8700

All camera functions are accessible in this super compact housing that weighs less than 7 pounds complete with camera.

The camera flash must be open to use the TTL sensor, but the housing blocks its use to illuminate the photos or operate our wireless TTL sensor. A bulkhead is included to attach a sync cord for optional SubStrobes which can operate as manual or TTL. SubStrobes require modification if made before 6/1/01. Optional mount for Nikonos strobes is available.

The housing is molded of corrosion free clear polycarbonate and operates safely to 200 feet. The Release Handle system allows easy attachment and removal of SubStrobe mounting arms at the touch of a button.

Housing measures 7" wide including knobs; 12" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 8" high including the removable base; and 8.5" deep including knobs and front lens port.

The base provides a stable platform when housing is not used, but removes instantly to create an even smaller profile.

The lens diameter and distance it moves in and out precludes the addition of optional lenses.
