The Smart Grip control handles provide fingertip access to common controls such as record/standby, light control, photo, manual focus and a two speed zoom.

For image control, the Bluefin VX2000 has mechanical controls that access the camera's two position ND filter, manual exposure, white balance, shutter speed, audio level, and program AE. Blue water color correction flip filter can be engaged or disengaged underwater.

Also standard is the 4 element 80° zoom through lens, totally redundant double O-ring seal for all optics and rear plate, an audible moisture alarm, a LED record/standby indicator and an amphibious microphone.
